A New Home for WF Construction, Inc.

 LA VERNE, CA (April 2007) Named as an ‘up-and-comer’ by Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, WF Construction, Inc. (WFC), formerly of San Dimas, has built a new office building- this time for their own use. The 30,000 square foot, two-story office building is located in La Verne, California and was concluded this March.
WFC wanted to find a piece of property to accommodate their growing business and allow for expansion. The 2-acre property in La Verne suited their needs, while allowing them to remain local.
The company’s in-house architectural staff, led by John B. Luttrell, A.I.A., designed the corporate headquarters. The contemporary office building has a tilt-up modular design with large storefront windows and varying colors that create a visual stacking pattern. The exterior of the building is highlighted by a distinguished architectural feature called the wedge, which not only serves as a site-block, but as a backdrop for landscaping and a display for the illuminated corporate signage. Through the use of glass and exterior openings, the interior space is very open and transparent. Like WFC, Inc. itself, the building has a very familial, non-corporate feel to it.
WF Construction, Inc.’s office features a 16,000 square foot warehouse, as well as a separate recreational building, including gym and racquetball court. Other employee benefits include a large communal BBQ and kitchen area. “We’re fortunate that we now have the space to provide such amenities and conveniences to our staff,” said President Joe Wilkins.
WFC has had great success working with The City of La Verne in the past and is pleased to have collaborated with this agency on another successful project.
